AMP goes beyond profile extrusion… We also offer custom tube extrusion based on your technical drawings
Extrusion of tubes in various sizes, wall thicknesses, and materials. From polyethylene or PVC tubes with a Ø40 mm diameter to microtubes in polypropylene, HDPE, and LDPE with diameters as small as Ø4 mm and wall thicknesses down to 0.09 mm.
Both co-extruded and mono-extruded, available in different colors, with properties and specifications fully tailored to customer requirements.
In-line cutting with high-speed rotary blades ensures clean cuts with tight tolerances. Custom logos and text printing are also available.
An extruded product is defined as one whose cross-section remains constant along its entire length in a 2D plane. In plastic extrusion, the material is melted and forced through a mold by the combined action of a barrel and a plasticizing screw, with processing temperatures ranging from 130°C (e.g., flexible PVC) up to 390°C (e.g., PEEK – polyether ether ketone). Once melted, the material takes the shape of the die, known as the “extrusion die” or “tooling.”
At processing temperatures, the material is soft and must be cooled and stabilized into its final shape. This is achieved through calibration units—metal molds with the negative geometry of the desired profile. Cooling occurs through controlled water baths and vacuum systems that pull the plastic against the cold walls of the calibrator, allowing it to form and solidify into the intended shape.
Angoscini M.P. offers tube extrusion and operates a machinery fleet consisting of 11 production lines and an additional 12 auxiliary extruders, enabling the extrusion of complex plastic profiles with a wide variety of shapes—whether simple or co-extruded—in PVC, polycarbonate, polyethylene, polystyrene, and many other engineering polymers.
